We do sterling silver REPAIRS  so bring them In for a free estimate on Tues,Wed,Thurs, or Saturday when Mary Ann is there.  W can also clean your stering chains, charms etc in our new magnetic tumbler. Fantastic!!  

HENNA ARTIST- Come have your wrist, hands or feet done in henna-- pick your patterns.  Reasonable costs-Sat Aug 7 and Sat- Aug 21st.  Make an appointment.  Exotic looks for the summer fun -- tell your friends and have a Henna Party.

    Our Instructor, Darlene Powers comes up with some great projects and we meet once per month on a Tuesday nite- come join in the fun.



  • Peyote Style- Star Bright

    This bracelet is so beautiful you will want to make many variations  The class is Aug 24, Tues form 6 to 8:30. Darlene is on a trip and did not give us a list of bead sizes, but she will call us soon so keep and eye on this space for the sizes of beads you can use on this.  You will also need a needle, fire line and a clasp of your choosing.  This class is open to both beginners and intermediates.  Cost is $20 You must preregister.   • Beads Made From Rose petals- Prayer beads and gifts.

    July 27th, Tues 6:00 to 8:00 we have local artist, Jennifer Hoffman coming to teach us how to make beads from flower petals.  this can turn your special old bouquets from anniversaries, birthdays, weddings etc into swell beads for jewelry or prayer. They are durable and unique as well as a lovely sentiment to give to friends and familly. There is no lovlier way to tell some one how special they are to you then to turned their past memeories into something they can cherish for the rest of their live.  Cost is $22 and everything wil be provided.  Limited to 10 so please sign up early.



  • Wire Wrapping Cabachons

    The beginning wire wrapping class is wrapping a cabachon that is at least as big as a quarter.  You can bring your own or we will have some for you to pick if you do not have a chance to shop for one.  Class will be July 30, Friday. at 6:00 to 8:30.  Let us know at the time of registration if you want to work in sterling silver or in gold fill.  We will provide pliers and tools for you to use.  Please bring a note pad and a fine tip permanent marker.  Cost is $40.00 including your wire.  Class is limited to 5 persons.  You must pre-register. 


  • Other samples of students projects

    We have been having such fun with bronze clay and the students are about to begin more advanced procjects.  Our next Bronze Clay 101 will be August 11  and August 18th, Wednesdays.  The first week you will learn how to roll, press and dry your clay as well as sand it.  On the second meeting we will brush, patina and burnish it into a beautiful look that you choose. Class is from 6:00 to 9:00 on the first nite and 6:00 to 8:00 on the last night.  You will be given 50 grams of clay, enough to make 8 med to smaller pieces, and will be given tools and molds to work with. Wear washable clothes and come meet some people who want to try somthing new.  Cost is  $49.00 (includes two nights and firing).  Limited to 6 people. Next class is Sept 22 and 29 Wednesdays.  It is so easy and fun!!



  • Beads 101- How to Design a Necklace or Bracelet and make a Pair of Simple Earrings

    You will learn the do's and don'ts of beginning designing for necklaces, bracelets and single drop earrings.  You will be amazed what you can make and how many variations you can do that are basiclly the same but look nothing alike.  It is lots of fun--quite easy and you will meet the nicest people beading next to you.  We even get a few guys now and then. (they love the attention) The class costs $20 and you get $8 worth of supplies included. ( If you pick more expensive beads and go over your $8 budget- you will have to pay the difference or mop the floor.) Ha! Class is limited to 8 people. Under 16 must be enrolled with a parent.  July 28th, Wednesday. 6:00 to 8:30.  Please preregister. 

  • Play Clay:  For all our Previous Students

    Once per month we have a night where all our old students can come in and use all the clay equipment (molds, dryer, files, dremel, polishers, hand tools, patina)  It only costs $10.00 and it is fun to see other folks projects.  We appreciate you helping clean up afterwards and putting things away.  Please call ahead if you are coming. Thursday 6-8:30 clean up from 8:30-9:00.  Next Clay Play is July 29, Thursday.

We will be hosting some Trunk Shows in August, Unicorn Beads.  Keep checking the website for info on other trunk shows in and Sept and Oct.  Several terriffic bead makers from the Pacific Northwest will be here to show you their latest creations. 

    On First Wednesday of every month the Salem Downtown Assoc. has a big party all over the downtown core.  There is music, refreshments and bargins. We stay open from 6:00 to 8:00p.m.  and we  offer 15% off anything you find that you can't live without during this time each month. Mark it on your calender.
