How to do a fabric backed cabachon for pins, pendants or even rings. Date is to be announced- Tues at 6:15 to 8:30. This is a project for beaders with some beading or hand sewing experience. Call for list of materials and to register. Instructor: Frankie Osborne $20

Bead Baubles: Make them many sizes and use seed beads to finish them. They go quite fast and can be used for earrings or in bracelets and necklaces. These pretty pieces were done by total beginners in the last class. You can do this too.
This wire wrapping class is for people with little to no wire bending experience. We will be doing the frame for cabachons. Once you have completed this class, you will be able to do quite a few variations on your own or with books. Copper based wire will be provided for the class. If you prefer to work in sterling or gold fill you may purchase your wire in addition to the class cost. Let us know your preference at the time of registration. Class will be at 6:00 to 9:00, April 25, Thurs. We will provide pliers and tools for you to use. Please bring a note pad and a fine tip permanent marker and a flat backed stone or glass to wrap that is about the size of a quarter or more or come by and pick out a piece. Cost is $36.00 including your wire and cabachon. Class is limited to 5 persons. You must pre-register. Instructor: Mary Ann Koch


We have been having such fun with bronze clay and the students are about to begin more advanced projects. Our next Bronze Clay 101 will be as soon as we have 3 people, and 2Wednesdays in a row. The first week you will learn how to roll, press and dry your clay as well as sand it. On the second meeting we will brush, patina and burnish it into a beautiful look that you choose. Class is from 6:00 to 9:00 on the first nite and 6:00 to 8:00 on the last night. You will be given 50 grams of clay, enough to make 7 med to smaller pieces, and will be have tools and molds to work with. Wear washable clothes and come meet some people who want to try somthing new. Cost is $55.00 (includes two nights plus clay and firing). Limited to 5 people. It is easy and fun!! Bezintine or spiral bracelet.This chain mail weaving class is for beginners and intermediates. You will love learning this old-world art form. Instructor Robert Rockhold will teach you the fine points of making the rings, connecting the rings and finishing the project. Each student needs 2 pairs of chain nose pliers or flat nose pliers and a cutters. These are available at Beads A Million or can be borrowed the night of the class. Students must be 15 years and up. The above pictures are projects done by these new beaders as first projects. Very nice-- and you too can make fun and pretty items. You will learn the do's and don'ts of beginning designing for necklaces, bracelets and single drop earrings. You will be amazed what you can make and how many variations you can do that are basicly the same but look nothing alike. It is lots of fun--quite easy and you will meet the nicest people beading next to you. We even get a few guys now and then. The class costs $24 and you get $10 worth of supplies included. ( If you pick more expensive beads and go over your $10 budget- you will need to pay the difference.) Class is limited to 6 people. Under 16 must be enrolled with a parent. Mon nite 6:00 - 8:30. Lean to make simple drop earrings in lots of combinations as well as a connector with drop and a wire through and around. You will make 2 or more pairs of earrings by the end of class. Cost is $24 with $10 of the class fee going toward materials. Pliers and use of other tools are provided. Class is limited to the first 6 registered. You won't believe you can make them so easy. Call to be put on an interest list and we will assign a date as soon as we have 4 persons interested or gather up 4 of your friends and have a private class of your own. This one is my own invention and it is for people who have held a pliers and can redo something until it satisfies them. I have done 8 of these and no 2 come out alike. You will need to bring a tapered crystal of your choosing about 1 1/4 inches to 1 and 3/4 inches. Findings and wire as well as crystal beads will be provided. Gather up a few friends at the office and we will schedule a class just for you. Any evening that is open from 6:00 to 8:30. $42.00 Limited to 5 people.


Use wire and a simple wrapped end loop with wire and beads to make chains, necklaces , bracelets and more. This is a very quality look and $8 worth of beads and the wire will be included. Cost $24.00, 6:00 to 8:30 Find a friend that wants to do this class then call me to set up a date. You will never pop the top off another bead.
